As people enter the active dying phase of their end of life journey they often like to have someone with them.

I can provide support with setting up rosters, being there myself to support both the dying person and the grieving, or I can be the person who holds space if nobody else is available.

Vigil work during the day can be allocated to hour packages or provided at an hourly rate, but if it is required overnight (between 8pm and 8am) rates are as below.

Please note there is a 3 hour minimum for overnight work.

Overnight vigil: $145 incl gst per hour
Concession: $100 incl gst per hour

8 hour Vigil package: $1100 incl gst
Concession: $750 incl gst

Please note that depending on circumstances, I may work with other doulas in rotation so that I can stay rested and well-placed to provide support.

This is variable, because the size, number of pages and amount of design work changes with every book.

My basic package includes one copy of a hard cover book (up to 36 pages in length) for $925 incl gst.

This includes the collaborative design process (with up to 2 stock or bespoke images if required), collation and management of all incoming images and copy, layout and basic copy editing/proofreading of the book, preparation for print and print coordination.

More pages, more copies of the printed book, different print specs or bespoke illustrations would require a tailored quote.

Please note: For memory books I work on an hourly rate so shorter books and less feedback time could produce a cheaper outcome than the basic package which is mainly designed to give an idea of the costs.

I usually bill this work on a per hour basis, as each ceremony is different and other support services are often involved. I frequently design bespoke order of services or bookmarks as keepsakes.

As a standalone service, a bespoke 8 page funeral booklet design is $330 incl gst plus print costs, but this can also be allocated to a 10, 20 or 30 hour package if preferred.

Although I don’t offer a package for ceremony planning, it can be allocated to a 10, 20 or 30 hour package if that works for your individual situation.

I am also happy to provide a quote on a case by case basis.

Death chats can be had with individuals, small groups in a home or local setting, or for larger groups in community houses or cafes.

I love having death chats, as they are such a good way to promote a better community understanding and acceptance of death.
